The Guitar
I approached the guitar at the age of 14 in the oratory. Some of my friends accompanied the songs with this instrument and they were beautiful moments of socialization.
Over time I then began to attend private classical guitar lessons together with my brother Gianluca and, studying for about 10 years with constant commitment, we had acquired a good technical level, enough to allow us to participate in some collective concerts.
With the degree and the workload of the first years of my professional career (I worked mainly away from home for the consulting firm Peat Marwick now KPMG), I suspended the study until 2004, when with the death of my father (Giacomo Macario), I felt the need to return to a more personal and seductive space, which music offers in large quantities.
I honestly admit that I am not particularly suited to this discipline, I lack a lot of chromaticism and character, and for this reason I find myself very in awe of playing in public. However, in 2020, during the period of the forced lock down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, observing the courage and success of a friend of mine who published his interpretations on Facebook, I also recorded and showed online the songs presented below.
